I'm Cheryl Patrick - a particle physicist and part-time poet. News In Verse is my hobby project, where I turn the silliest news stories into the silliest poems.

When I'm not writing news poems, I'm working at UCL in London, researching invisible "ghost" particles called neutrinos. I also write and perform songs and poems about science. Check out my website if you'd like to know more.
